What exactly is HELITS Intranet?

A multi-tenant intranet with an integrated document management system (DMS). It bundles document control, mandatory read receipts, approval workflows, a role and rights matrix and an employee dashboard on one platform – usable by several organisations or locations, each fully separated and individually branded.

How does the read-receipt feature work and is it legally usable?

When a new work instruction or policy is published, employees receive a mandatory read receipt. Overdue receipts are shown in a prominent banner and escalated automatically. For every document version you can prove at any time who confirmed it and when – revision-secure, instead of with Excel lists and round-robin emails.

Is the intranet multi-tenant?

Yes. One platform runs several organisations (e.g. a corporate group or multiple locations). Data, areas, documents, users and branding are strictly separated per tenant. Each tenant has its own admin panel under /admin/{organisation}.

Does login work with Microsoft 365?

Yes. Single sign-on runs via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) – employees log in with their existing Microsoft account, no second password. Multi-tenant SSO with tenant whitelisting is supported; optional auto-provisioning per email domain.

How are documents versioned and approved?

Only the current, approved version of a document is visible in the frontend. New versions run through a defined approval workflow (request, review, release) – the status is never set by hand. Every version keeps its own read receipts and history.

How granular is the rights management?

Very granular: roles per organisation (org admin, area management, QM, employee), groups, module permissions and polymorphic access rules with area inheritance. A central rights matrix shows at a glance who may do what – per group, module and area.
