Loxone is a professional building automation platform that works entirely locally and cloud-free. Unlike Alexa or Google Home, Loxone continues to work reliably without an internet connection. All 7 systems (lighting, shading, climate, security, access, audio, energy) are centrally controlled by the Miniserver – not as isolated solutions.

Is Loxone also suitable for renovations and existing buildings?

Yes. Loxone Tree and Air extensions enable wireless or space-saving retrofitting in existing buildings. For a classic renovation, we plan together which systems are wired and which are integrated wirelessly. Modernisation is also possible in stages.

How secure is my data with Loxone?

Loxone works completely without cloud dependency. The Miniserver stores all data locally in your building. Remote access is encrypted via a dedicated VPN tunnel directly to your Miniserver – without routing through external servers. This is a decisive advantage over cloud-based systems like Amazon Echo or Google Nest.

Can I configure and expand Loxone myself after installation?

Yes. Loxone Config provides you with professional software. We train you in the basic operation and hand over the complete programming documentation. Simple adjustments such as scenes, schedules or new switches can be done by yourself. For more complex expansions, we are available with a maintenance contract.

What happens if the internet fails?

Loxone is designed precisely for this case: the Miniserver works completely offline. Lighting, shading, climate, alarm and all other systems continue without restriction. Only remote access via the Loxone App is unavailable without an internet connection – everything else continues to work locally.

How much does a Loxone installation approximately cost?

Loxone projects typically start at around €4,990 (incl. Miniserver, basic configuration, commissioning). The final price depends on building size, number of systems and expansion level. A single-family home with all 7 systems often costs between €12,000 and €35,000. We prepare a detailed quote after a free initial consultation.

Does HELITS also offer DACH-wide Loxone support?

Yes. As a Loxone partner we serve customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On-site visits are carried out in greater Bavaria (Bad Reichenhall, Berchtesgadener Land, Salzburg, Munich). For customers in the rest of the DACH region we offer remote support and configuration adjustments.
